Acolytes - Acolytes serve on the altar during church services as crucifers, servers, and torch bearers. When the bishop is present, an acolyte serves as the bishop’s chaplain. Altar Bread - This group keeps the Altar Guild supplied with fresh-baked communion bread for the service of Holy Eucharist. (Charlotte Hinckley - [email protected] )
Altar Guild - The Altar Guild prepares the altar for services as well as oversees the maintenance and refurbishment of materials used. Because the Altar Guild works each week, new members are always needed. Training is ongoing and provided at convenient times. (Mary Palinkos)
Bell Choir - The bell choir enhances worship through music. Members also contribute their talents to community events such as the annual Relay for Life. (Charlotte Hinckley - [email protected])
Building & Grounds - Oversees the maintenance of our buinding and grounds. (George Tuma - [email protected] )
FlowerCommittee - The ministry is made up of volunteers who arrange flowers for the Sunday services as well as greens for special occasions such as Christmas. These volunteers also arrange flowers given in memory of or thanksgiving for people or occasions. (Charlotte Hinckley - [email protected] )
Hospitality - The members of the hospitality ministry work, often on short notice, to provide warm welcome and hospitality for community celebrations, special events for parishioners, and receptions after funeral services. For more information please contact us at 860.628.8486.
Layreaders - Currently twenty-seven members read the Old Testament, Psalm, and Epistle for the 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. services, as well as for special services during the year. Training is provided for anyone interested in this ministry. (Katherine Stewart Kelley -[email protected])
Library Committee - Maintains the books in our library (Ann Hartung - 860-621-0926 )
Memorial Garden - The Memorial Garden holds parishioners' ashes and is a place of beauty and peace. Volunteers are always needed to help with upkeep such as weeding, as well as contributions. A wine and cheese fundraiser is held each June in the garden. (Betty Anderson)
Memorial Scholarship - This newly established scholarship was made possible by a donation in memory of long-time parishioner and educator, Gladys Joll. Applications can be picked up at the church office, and must be returned by March 31 of each year. (Kathy Lafland)

Christmas presents for families in need regifted items for Social Services Childrens’ Holiday Party
Our main fundraiser is our Holiday Boutique, where all of the monies collected are donated to the Southington Fuel Bank. (Maureen Brennan - [email protected] )
Music Ministry - The adult choir sings at the 10:15 Sunday service as well as at other times such as Christmas Eve. This year saw the addition of contemporary music, including guitar. No auditions are required—just a love of music and a willingness to practice on Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m., downstairs in the choir room. New Members Group - The Newcomers Group provides a network for people new to St. Paul's through a variety of events, such as Newcomer Dinners. For more information, please contact the church office (Mary Muller) Pastoral Care Team - The Pastoral Care Team extends the Sunday morning community to those who are unable to attend by visiting, providing assistance such as rides and meals, as well as bringing the Eucharist. This ministry can be activated by calling the church office (860-628-8486).
